Guide
How do I get more admissions for my school in Kichha?
Show parents the school their child will actually attend: real classrooms, teachers, buses and results, with a fee range and the admission dates. Reply to WhatsApp enquiries the same day and invite families for a campus visit. Start well before registrations open, because parents compare schools for months before the new session begins.
A parent in Kichha choosing a school has plenty of options: schools in town, along the Rudrapur road, and out towards Sitarganj and the Bareilly side. Most of them say the same things on their banners. Smart classes, experienced faculty, excellent results.
So parents look past the banner. They ask relatives on WhatsApp, scroll the school's Instagram, read Google reviews and drive past the gate at dispersal time. Your marketing has to answer what they are really checking.
01What do parents in Kichha check before choosing a school?
Parents are choosing where their child will spend the next ten years. They are checking for safety and honesty first, then for quality. Before they enquire, most want to know:
- Is it safe? The gate, the guards, the CCTV, who is allowed to pick up the child.
- Is there a bus on our route, and what time does it come?
- Who are the teachers, and do they stay for years?
- The board, the medium, and what the nursery class actually does all day.
- The fees, or at least a range, and what is extra: transport, books, uniform.
- Results and activities: board results, sports, annual day, competitions.
Families from the villages around Kichha often ask simpler questions too. Is the English medium real, or only on the board outside? Will the teacher speak to me in Hindi at the PTM? Answer those in your posts and at the reception desk.
02What should a school post to get admission enquiries?
Post the school as it is on a normal day, not only on event days. These are the posts that bring parents to the gate:
| Post | What it shows parents | How to shoot it |
|---|---|---|
| Teacher introductions | Who will teach their child | One teacher, one subject, in their own words |
| A day at school | Routine, care and discipline | Assembly, class, lunch, dispersal, filmed in one day |
| Bus route reels | Whether the bus reaches them | Route names on screen, the bus at a known stop |
| Parent voices | Trust from families like theirs | Parents on camera, in Hindi if they prefer, with consent |
| Results and events | That children do well here | Toppers, sports day, annual day, with permission |
| Campus walk-through | Facilities and cleanliness | A steady walk in natural light, no flashy edits |
Parent voices carry the most weight. We have filmed parents on camera at a school campus for Jain Global School, and in our experience a parent speaking plainly does more than any voice-over. Always take written consent from parents before showing a child's face.
03When should a school start its admission campaign?
Earlier than the banner goes up. In our experience with schools, parents start asking around in the winter months, and many have decided before the annual exams. Check your own admission calendar, then plan backwards:
- November: shoot teachers, a school day, the buses and the campus. Use your Children's Day and annual day footage too.
- December: post steadily, and open enquiries on WhatsApp with a clear set of questions.
- January and February: run small ads to parents along your bus routes. Hold campus visit days.
- March and April: follow up every enquiry. Post results and the first day of the new session.
Our post on Children's Day and annual day 2026: a school content plan that feeds admissions shows how to film those events so the footage works for admissions later.
Ads work best once the page already looks alive. A parent who clicks an ad and finds three posts from last year will not call.
04How should a school handle WhatsApp admission enquiries?
Most enquiries now start on WhatsApp, often late in the evening once the parent is home from work or the field. A quick, polite reply matters more than a glossy brochure.
- Use WhatsApp Business with a saved reply that asks for the class, the current school, the area and a good time to call.
- Send a short PDF prospectus with the fee range, bus routes and timings.
- Offer a campus visit on a specific day and time, not 'come any time'.
- Keep one person responsible for enquiries, with a register of who replied and when.
- Follow up once after the visit. Not five times.
Speak the parent's language. If they write in Hindi, reply in Hindi. Good families are lost when the reply sounds like a call centre.
05Do Facebook and Instagram ads work for school admissions?
They can, if the area is tight and the message is honest. Show the ad to parents in the area your buses cover, and in the villages and colonies families come from. Use your best reel, usually a teacher or a parent speaking, not a poster listing every facility.
Send people to WhatsApp or to a short admission form. Our post on Should my Facebook and Instagram ads open WhatsApp or a lead form? explains which suits which kind of school. A form works when your desk calls back the same day.
Keep the budget small at first. Judge it on enquiries and campus visits, not on likes. Never promise ranks or toppers in an ad. Parents remember the promise when results come out.
06What mistakes do schools make in their marketing?
- Stock photos of children who are not your students.
- Posting only events, never a normal school day.
- No fee range anywhere, so parents assume the worst.
- Posting children's faces without written consent.
- An admission banner with a number nobody answers after school hours.
- Going silent from May to October, then appearing only when seats are empty.
The last one is the most common. Parents who will apply next winter are watching your page all year. A steady stream of normal school days, posted every week, builds the trust that the admission ad then cashes in.
07How does AMS work with schools?
Advance Media Solution is a seven-person studio in Metropolis City, Rudrapur, a short drive from Kichha. We have worked with schools and institutes including Jain Global School, Amenity Public School, Jie Lord Buddha School, Bansal Classes and Aakash Institute.
With a school we usually start with one shoot day on campus: teachers, a normal day, the buses, and parents who agree to speak. Then we post, answer comments and DMs, and run small admission ads. How we plan around admission season is on School Marketing Agency in Rudrapur for Admissions. Retainers start from ₹35,000 a month plus GST.
If you run a school in Kichha and want to plan this session's admissions, call +91 91059 43909. Even if you do it yourself, film one teacher introducing their class this week.
08Questions people ask
Should a school show its fees online?
A fee range helps. Parents with a budget skip schools that hide fees, because asking feels like a commitment. Show the range for each stage, and say what is extra: transport, books, uniform and activities. The full fee chart can go in the prospectus you send on WhatsApp.
Is it safe to post children's photos on the school page?
Only with written consent from parents, collected at admission and renewed each year. Use group shots and wide frames where you can. Never put a child's full name with their face unless the parents agree. Remove any photo the same day a parent asks.
Do Google reviews matter for a school?
Yes. Parents read them before they visit, and they notice how the school replies. Ask satisfied parents at PTMs or after annual day, with a simple link. Reply politely to every review, including the angry ones. A calm, specific reply to a complaint reassures the next parent more than ten five-star ratings.
Should our school reels be in Hindi or English?
Usually both. A teacher speaking English shows the medium is real. A parent speaking Hindi reaches grandparents and families who decide together. Add subtitles either way. There is more on choosing a language at Should my business reels be in Hindi, English or Hinglish?.
