01What does an e-commerce marketing agency do for a D2C brand in Rudrapur?
An online brand's week does not run on footfall. It runs on drop day, restock day, the courier pickup and the order cut-off before a festival. Between those days, the work is answering the same questions on repeat. Is this the real colour? Kab tak aayega? Is COD available? What if it does not fit?
Before a customer orders, they check things a shop counter would have answered. Real photos rather than mockups. A size chart. Delivery time to their pincode. The return policy. Reviews, and the comments under the reel. If any of those are missing, the cart is often abandoned and nobody tells you why.
Advance Media Solution (AMS) handles that whole loop from Metropolis City, Rudrapur. We shoot the product, cut the reels, run the ads, set up the catalogue and pixel, and answer the DMs. In retail and e-commerce we have worked with Bluwalker, Cold Culture, Kleener Kickss, MyKleren, Shoenique and GROCART. In food, we have worked with Madhura Naturals and Organic Superfood. This page is for brands based in Uttarakhand that ship across India, and for local shops that want to start selling online.
02How do you plan a drop so it keeps selling after launch week?
A drop is a deadline with stock attached. The usual mistake is shooting on launch day and posting whatever is ready. By the time the content is good, the hype is gone and the sizes are broken.
We shoot the drop before it goes live. That gives a bank of reels for the tease, the launch and the restock, all cut before anyone can buy. On launch day the job is posting, replying and watching the ad account, not editing.
Bluwalker's apparel drop is the clearest example of the reel becoming the ad. The drop reel earned 3M+ views organically in one month. The same reel then went into the ad account exactly as it was, with no separate cutdown. The label has done ₹8 lakh+ in sales every month since. The full story is in the Bluwalker case study further down this page.
Not every drop reel takes off on its own, so creative testing matters. We cut the same product with several openings: the price first, the fabric first, the unboxing first, the objection first. Each gets a small spend. The budget then moves to the hook people actually stop for, and the rest are switched off. The reel that wins is the ad. Nothing is rebuilt by a second agency in another city.
03Should product content be shot in the studio or on location?
Both, for different jobs. The studio is for truth. Controlled light, a colour-accurate frame, the texture of the fabric, the stitching, the print up close, the packaging as it arrives. Bluwalker's tee drop was shot in our studio. Online, the reel is the trial room.
Location is for wanting. A hoodie on a cold Kumaon morning, sneakers on a real street, a jar of honey on a kitchen counter at breakfast. The studio shows what the product is. The location shows what it is for.
Product shot on a phone, on the shop counter, loses what an online buyer needs. Auto white balance shifts between clips, so the same kurta looks like two products. Whites pick up a colour cast and blacks go flat. Shine on a packet blows out. Without a hand in frame, it is hard to tell how big a bottle is. Autofocus hunts the moment the product moves.
Those small errors cost money later. A colour that looked different on screen can become a return, a courier charge both ways and a one-star review. So we shoot in the studio first, at Metropolis City, and go out on location when the product needs a setting. Products can be couriered to us if the brand is not nearby.
04What has to be set up before the first rupee goes into ads?
Ads without tracking are guesses with a budget. Before spend starts, the account needs the plumbing that lets Meta and Google learn who buys.
- A Meta catalogue with every product, size and price, fed from your store so it stays in step with your stock.
- The pixel and conversion events on the site, so add-to-cart, checkout and purchase are counted, not assumed.
- Your own ad account and business manager, in your name, with AMS added as a partner. You keep the data if we ever part.
- A pinned reel and a highlight that answer delivery time, COD, sizing and exchange before anyone has to ask.
- A DM reply flow for the questions that still come, so an enquiry at 11 pm is not read at noon.
If there is no store yet, do not wait for one. Plenty of shops start with a WhatsApp catalogue, UPI and a courier account. The reels point to WhatsApp, orders are taken in chat, and the brand learns what sells before a rupee goes into a website. When the order volume justifies it, we build the store and move the traffic. How we build websites is on our website development page, linked at the bottom of this page.
05What do the first weeks with AMS usually look like?
For an online brand, tracking goes in before budget does. The rest follows your drop calendar.
- First, a call about what you sell, your margins, your top seller and your worst return. We look at the store, the Instagram and the ad account as they stand.
- Next, the setup: catalogue, pixel and business manager in your name, and a shot list agreed. If there is no store, the WhatsApp order flow comes first.
- Then the studio shoot at Metropolis City. Hero product reels, a delivery and returns explainer, and close-ups for the catalogue.
- Content goes live. Several hooks on the same product are posted, with a small test spend behind each.
- The budget then moves to the hook that holds attention. Retargeting starts on people who watched or visited but did not buy. The "is COD available?" DMs and comments are answered as they come in.
- After that, the next shoot is planned around the next drop, restock or festival. A report in plain words covers which reels brought orders, which did not, what the returns and DMs said, and what changes next.
We do not forecast when orders will pick up. The report shows, drop by drop, which reels sold and which were only watched.
06What does e-commerce marketing cost with AMS?
Two from-prices exist, and both are on this site. Marketing retainers start from ₹35,000 a month. Business websites start from ₹50,000. GST is charged on top of both. A store with checkout is scoped on the call, since the size of the catalogue decides the work.
For an online brand, the catalogue decides the work. A single-product brand needs several hooks on one item. A store with a long catalogue needs the feed, sizes and colours kept accurate, and broader reels. Your drop and restock calendar, brought to the call, sets the rest.
Three things sit outside the fee. Ad spend goes from your own business manager straight to Meta or Google. The store's domain and hosting are bought in your name. Courier, packaging and returns are your business costs, not marketing.
More on how retainers and website pricing work is on our pricing page, linked at the bottom of this page. If you want a sense of the numbers before the call, start there.
07Why can a brand from Rudrapur compete with metro brands on content?
Your customer in Pune, Surat or Guwahati sees a reel, not a pincode. The feed does not show where the studio is. What they judge is whether the product looks real, whether the price is clear and whether delivery is answered.
None of that needs a metro production house. The same seven people shoot, cut and run the spend. There is no handover from a production house to a separate ad agency, and no week lost between them.
Being in Rudrapur also means shoots happen when the product is ready, not when a metro crew has a slot. When a restock lands, the reel does not wait for an outstation crew to travel in. Kichha is about 12 km from the studio and Haldwani about 35 to 40 km. Shops there can bring stock to us, or we shoot at the shop.
Since April 2023 we have worked with 75+ brands from this studio. For an online brand, where the reel was shot matters far less than whether the product looks real in it.
08Work that proves it
09Questions people ask
We only sell on Instagram and WhatsApp. Is that enough to start with AMS?
Yes. Many brands start with a WhatsApp catalogue, UPI and a courier account, and that is a fine first step. We shoot the content, point the reels to WhatsApp and set up the reply flow. When orders justify a store, we build it in your name and move the traffic across. The content from the first stage carries over.
Who owns the ad account, pixel and catalogue?
You do. The business manager, ad account, pixel and catalogue are created in your name, and AMS is added as a partner. Ad spend is paid by you directly to Meta or Google. If the retainer ends, the data, the audiences and the account history stay with you.
Can you shoot our products if we are not near Rudrapur?
Yes. Courier the products to our studio in Metropolis City, Rudrapur, and we shoot them there and send them back. For lifestyle content that needs your location or your people, we plan a shoot day. Brands in Kichha, Haldwani and nearby can also bring stock to the studio.
Why did the Bluwalker reel work as the ad without a new edit?
Because it had already proved itself. The reel earned 3M+ views organically in a month, which meant people were choosing to watch it. Putting spend behind a piece the audience has already accepted is very different from guessing with a new cut. The label has done ₹8 lakh+ in sales every month since.
How do you handle delivery and returns questions?
We put the answers in the content before anyone asks. A pinned reel on delivery time and COD, a highlight on sizing and exchange, and the same lines in the catalogue. The policy itself is yours to set. We answer the DMs and comments that still come in, and flag the questions that keep repeating.
How much does e-commerce marketing cost with AMS?
Marketing retainers start from ₹35,000 a month and business websites from ₹50,000, both plus GST. Meta and Google bill the ad spend to your own account, not ours. The retainer is sized to your catalogue and how often you drop or restock, and set on the call.
How soon will an online brand see sales?
Views and saves move first. Orders from people who have never heard of you take longer. A stranger usually needs to see a brand a few times before paying online. Repeat orders come after that. How long it all takes depends on the product, the price and how steady the content is. We would rather say this on the call than sell you a date.
