The Royal Art: ₹70k+ in sales in the first twenty days

Advance Media Solution (AMS) launched The Royal Art, an art gallery, on social media: gallery pieces shot in situ rather than on a white sweep, store and product content for the feed, a Rakhi campaign built to a date, and a news-style launch cut to open with. The gallery did ₹70k+ in sales within its first twenty days.

01The brief

A new gallery with no audience yet, a launch date, and a festival inside the launch window. The pieces were the product, so how they were shown would decide whether anyone bought.

02What we made

  • Gallery pieces shot in situ, not on a white sweep
  • Store and product content for the feed
  • A Rakhi campaign built to a date
  • A news-style launch cut

03Why in situ, not on a white background

A piece photographed on a white sweep looks like a catalogue. The same piece on a wall in a real room sells the room, and the idea of owning it. So the gallery's pieces were shot where they would actually live, and the store and product content for the feed followed the same rule.

The launch opened with a news-style cut, treating the opening as an event worth reporting rather than another announcement post.

04Built to a date: the Rakhi campaign

Rakhi fell inside the launch window, so the campaign was built to that date, planned in advance rather than the week before. Festival weeks are when a gift-led business makes a large share of its sales; the content was ready before the rush, not during it.

05The result

₹70k+ in sales within the first twenty days of launch.

06What this means for a shop in Rudrapur or Haldwani

If you run a retail shop, the lesson travels: show the product the way a customer would see it in their hands or on their wall, treat the launch as news, and plan festival campaigns months out. Diwali, Rakhi, Eid and wedding season should never be a week-before scramble.

07Questions people ask

Do you shoot products in our shop or in a studio?

Usually in your shop, or wherever the product is actually used. For The Royal Art the pieces were shot in situ, on real walls, because that is what sells them. The studio is there for products that need a controlled setup.

Can you build a campaign around a festival?

Yes, and we would rather plan it early. The Royal Art's Rakhi campaign was built to a date well ahead of the festival. Tell us your key festivals and seasons at the start and they go into the plan.

What is a news-style launch cut?

A launch video cut like a news report on the opening: the place, the people, the pieces, the date. It treats the launch as something that happened in town rather than an advert, which is why people watch it and share it.
