01What does a parent check before visiting your school?
A parent does not walk in cold any more. Before the visit they search the school's name on Google, open the Instagram page and scroll back a few months. They are looking for specific things. Do the classrooms look like the ones in the brochure? Does the principal seem like someone they could talk to? Are the fees anywhere, or at least a way to ask? Which colonies does the bus reach? For a coaching centre the questions change: who teaches, what the last batch did, and whether the timing fits around a school day.
If the answers are not there, the parent moves to the next school on the list. If the page has been quiet since last Diwali, that says something too.
Our work for schools starts with those questions. We fill in what a parent is looking for. Real rooms during a real class, the people who teach, the timings, the routes. And a fast way to enquire on WhatsApp. On the first call we ask which language your parents are most comfortable in. If it is Hindi, part of the content is written and spoken in Hindi. Not translated captions, Hindi first.
02How do you run admission season like a campaign with a deadline?
The last date for admission forms goes on the banner outside the gate, and everything is planned back from it. That makes admissions closer to a race registration than to a shop's everyday marketing. The Niti Xtreme Ultra Run, which took 2,000+ entries in two months, ran to a fixed closing date too: the Niti Xtreme Ultra Run case study. What changes for a school is who decides. A parent asks other parents, visits, and comes back with more questions, so the campaign has to answer them more than once.
For a school or coaching centre, that shape looks like this:
- A teacher or the admissions head on video, answering what parents ring the office about: fees, timings, bus routes, batch size, day one.
- One admissions page with a form and a WhatsApp button, so the ad and the reel send people somewhere that finishes the job.
- Meta ads set to the colonies your buses reach and the areas you draw students from. The video parents message about gets the budget.
- Regular posts right through the season, so a parent who checks again before deciding finds something new.
Aakash Institute's centre head went on camera with us for admissions. A person explaining beats a poster with a phone number on it.
03Should the principal and teachers be on camera?
Yes, if they are willing. A parent is choosing people, not a building. The school gate, the assembly ground and the drone shot look the same from Rudrapur to Haldwani. The principal answering one question in their own words does not.
Filming a school on a phone goes wrong in a few familiar ways. A class filmed from the door is a room full of heads from behind. An empty classroom looks like a hospital ward. A teacher filmed from the back of the room is a voice in an echo. And a nervous adult reading from a paper looks worse than saying nothing at all.
So we shoot it differently. A lapel mic and a window for light. One question at a time, answered in the teacher's own words. And the room in use, not emptied for the camera. Bansal Classes' study centre was shot between classes. We also made a podcast with them, and their Managing Director put it this way: "Launching a podcast felt like a mountain to climb. They handled everything from scripting to final edit, and made sure our mission resonated with students and parents alike."
Children on camera are handled carefully. We agree with the school which students can appear, and consent from parents comes before the shoot, not after the post.
04What about annual day, sports day, Harela and results day?
A school year has fixed days that matter to parents far more than a good-morning post. Annual day, sports day, Independence Day, Harela, farewell, and the day results come out. Each one shows the school as it is, and the parents who were there share it forward.
We shot Jain Global School's Harela planting day live, as it happened. School events are worth posting the same evening, while the class WhatsApp groups are still full of blurry phone photos. A clean reel on the school's own page gives parents something better to forward. The families who were not there see what the school does, not a notice that it happened.
Results day deserves the same care. A topper's board photographed on a phone and forwarded on WhatsApp looks like every other coaching centre's. A short video of the student, the teacher who taught them, and one line in Hindi about how they got there. That, a parent remembers. The student's parents and the teacher both agree to it before anything is posted.
Tell us your event dates as soon as the school calendar is fixed. See Videographer in Rudrapur for Brands & Events for how we plan an event shoot.
05What happens when we start?
Schools run on a timetable, so the start is timed to it. The first shoot should happen while classes are full, well before exams empty the rooms.
- First, a call with the principal or director. We agree what the season is about, who can be on camera, how consent for students works, and where enquiries should land.
- Then the first shoot. Classrooms during class, labs, the library, the buses, and the principal and a few teachers on camera. We film on an ordinary school day, with classes running.
- Then the profiles are fixed: admission dates, office hours, bus routes, a number the office answers, and the Google pin on the right gate. If the school has no admissions page, we scope one with you.
- Then posting begins. Content in the language your parents use, comments and DMs answered by us, and the first ads sent to the admissions page.
- Then the first report, ready for the principal before the next admissions meeting. It sets enquiries against each video and says what changes before the next intake.
Fees, results and bus routes decide many admissions, and no agency controls those. Our part is making sure a parent who looks the school up finds real classrooms and a quick answer.
06What does school marketing cost in Rudrapur?
We publish two prices, and both are starting points. Monthly marketing retainers start from ₹35,000 a month. A business website starts from ₹50,000. If the site needs an admissions page, that goes into the scope we agree on the call. GST is charged on top of both.
A school's year is uneven. The weeks before the admission deadline need shoots, ads and fast replies to parents. The rest of the year is mostly annual day, sports day and results. So the scope is drawn on the school calendar you bring to the call. A coaching centre with one batch needs less of it than a full campus.
Admission ads are paid for by the school, straight to Meta or Google, from an ad account in the school's name. The accounts office sees the same figures we do. The admissions page sits on a domain and hosting bought in the school's name, so next year's intake starts from the same address.
For how the two prices work and how a quote is built, see Digital Marketing Packages in Rudrapur from ₹35,000. If the budget is tighter than that, tell us. Sometimes one shoot before admission season is the right first step, and we will say so.

08Questions people ask
Which schools and coaching centres has AMS worked with?
Education clients: Jain Global School, Aakash Institute, Bansal Classes, Amenity Public School, Chandigarh University, Jie Lord Buddha School, My Skylitt Academy and Classplx. The work on this page includes Jain Global School's Harela day, Aakash Institute's centre head on camera, and Bansal Classes' study centre and podcast. Across all sectors, AMS has worked with 75+ brands since April 2023.
Can you run ads only to parents near our school?
Yes. We set the ad area to the colonies your buses actually reach, not a circle drawn round the school. Families in areas you do not serve are left out, so the budget is not spent on parents your buses cannot reach. The ads point to an admissions page with a form and WhatsApp, not the homepage. See Facebook Ads Agency in Rudrapur | Meta Ads for how we run them.
Do students have to appear in the videos?
No. A lot of school content works without a single student's face: the principal, teachers, labs, buses, the kitchen, the sports ground in use. When students do appear, we agree the list with the school first and consent from parents comes before the shoot. For coaching centres, results content only shows students who have agreed to be shown.
Do you make content in Hindi?
Yes. On the first call we ask which language your parents are most comfortable in, and script and caption the content to match. Where that is Hindi, it is written in Hindi first, not translated. The principal or teacher speaks in whichever language comes naturally. Replies to comments and DMs go out in the language the parent wrote in.
How far ahead of admission season should we start?
Before the admission banners go up, and ideally while the current session is still running. Classrooms need to be filmed full, which gets hard once exams begin. The early weeks show which video parents actually watch. The later weeks put the spend behind it. Starting the week admissions open leaves no time to learn anything.
We are a coaching centre, not a school. Does the same apply?
Mostly, with two changes. Your busy season follows board results and entrance dates rather than the school calendar. Parents want to see who teaches and how a batch is run, more than the building. Aakash Institute's centre head went on camera with us for admissions. Bansal Classes' study centre was shot between classes, and we made a podcast with them too. The deadline campaign, the content in your parents' language and the enquiry page work the same way.
How much does marketing for a school in Rudrapur cost?
Retainers start from ₹35,000 a month and a website from ₹50,000, both plus GST. Admission ads are paid for by the school directly to Meta or Google. The quote is built around your admission deadline and the events you want covered, from annual day to results day. The packages page at Digital Marketing Packages in Rudrapur from ₹35,000 explains how.
