01Why is marketing a factory different from marketing a café?

A café sells to whoever walks past. A unit in SIDCUL Pantnagar sells to a purchase team that may sit in Gurugram, Pune or Dubai. That team will probably never see the plant. The order is bigger, the decision is slower, and more than one person signs off on it. So a feed full of Diwali greetings and trending audio does almost nothing for the order book.

What a B2B buyer actually does is quieter. They get your name from a trade directory, a reference or a Google search. Then they check four things: your website, your Google listing, the owner's LinkedIn, and whether your photos are real or stock. If those hold up, you stay on the shortlist. If they do not, the buyer moves to the next name. You never find out.

That is the week we plan around: what a stranger with a purchase order finds when they look you up. We have worked with Chawla Ispat, Satyadev Industries, dluxecopack, UK Logistic, Gayatree Enterprises and Design Plus. We do not publish numbers for these accounts, so this page talks about method rather than results. The numbers we do publish are on the case study pages.

02What should a manufacturer's website show a procurement manager?

A procurement manager is not browsing. They have a spec sheet open in another tab and a date for the vendor shortlist. Your website has one job: let them tick their boxes without emailing first. A site fails this when it opens with a slider and a mission statement. It fails again when the product range is a PDF that will not open on a phone.

  • What you make, by product family, photographed on your own line, not lifted from a supplier's brochure.
  • Capacity and the machines behind it: what is installed, how many lines, which shifts you run.
  • Your certificates as scanned copies a buyer can open, not a strip of logos.
  • Minimum order quantity, packing standard, and how dispatch works from Pantnagar.
  • Plant address, GST number, the person who answers RFQs, and a form that reaches that person.
  • An English version, if you export or intend to.

It is the checklist the buyer already carries, on a page they can finish at eleven at night. We write it with your sales head and photograph the plant ourselves. The site is built to load on a phone in a warehouse with weak signal. Domain and hosting are bought in your company's name. More on how we build: Website Design & Development in Rudrapur.

03Why film the factory floor for buyers who will never visit?

A buyer who cannot visit the plant decides from what they can see of it. A short plant film does the job of a factory visit. The gate, the shed, the lines running, the QC bench, the loading bay. It sits on the website, goes into the pitch email, and plays at a trade fair stall.

This is also where a phone camera lets a factory down. Tube lights flicker on video. Polished steel and fresh powder coat blow out into white patches. A long shed shot from the door looks small and empty; a phone gives no sense of scale. Machine noise drowns the supervisor explaining the process. Dust haze over a cutting line reads as bad focus.

We light it properly. A lapel mic goes on whoever is speaking. Wide shots show the length of the line, close-ups show the finish. The slot is picked with your plant head, often a quieter shift or a maintenance day. If a customer's part or a process cannot be shown, it is not shown. If you need an NDA, raise it on the first call. Book the day away from month-end dispatch, when nobody on the floor has time for a camera. Shoot days are explained at Videographer in Rudrapur for Brands & Events.

04Does anyone search for a manufacturer in Rudrapur on Google?

Yes, and the useful searches come from buyers with a need, not passers-by. Someone typing corrugated box manufacturer Rudrapur, steel fabrication SIDCUL or transporter Pantnagar to Delhi is usually close to asking for a quote. Three things decide whether they find you.

  • Your Google Business Profile: the plant pinned at the right SIDCUL plot, the right category, real plant photos, and the enquiry desk's direct number.
  • A page for each product family and each phrase a buyer would type, in their words, not your internal part names.
  • Search ads on the phrases a buyer types, with negative keywords for jobs, salaries and training courses. The spend goes from your account to Google.

We do not promise a position on Google. Nobody honest can. What we do is make sure that when a buyer does find you, what they find is correct and complete.

LinkedIn is the other place a B2B buyer looks, and it is the owner they look up, not the company page. It does not need motivational quotes. It needs a post when a new machine is commissioned, an audit is passed, or a consignment leaves for a new state. We draft these from what happened on the floor that week, with photos from the shoot. You approve them on WhatsApp before they go out.

05Can video help with hiring, and what do export buyers need?

For an HR head in SIDCUL, the worry is often people, not orders. It is finding a CNC operator, a maintenance fitter or a quality inspector who stays on. Candidates now check a company on their phone before the interview. If they find nothing, the good ones assume the worst.

A recruitment video is not a corporate film. It is a short clip from the floor: the shift timing, the bus, the canteen, the machines they will run. A current operator says in Hindi what the work is like. Honest and specific beats polished. It goes on LinkedIn, on WhatsApp job groups and on the careers page of the site.

Export buyers add one more requirement: language. An overseas importer wants an English catalogue that opens on a phone and a plant film with English subtitles or voice-over. The website should state the port, the packing standard and the payment terms in plain English. We produce the catalogue as a PDF and as pages on the site. That way it can be emailed, and Google can index it. Hindi content still matters for hiring and the local dealer network. Export content and hiring content should never be the same file.

06What does marketing for an industrial or B2B company cost?

Two starting points. Monthly marketing retainers start from ₹35,000 a month. Business websites start from ₹50,000. GST is charged on top of both. Any Google or Meta spend is paid by the company directly to the platform, from an ad account in its own name. The invoice goes through your accounts team like any other vendor bill. The website domain is registered to the company too, not to us.

What a retainer covers depends on the unit. A packaging manufacturer wanting a plant film, a buyer-ready website and LinkedIn for the owner needs one kind of month. A logistics firm that mostly needs Google search and a working careers page needs another. We size it after the plant visit, once we have seen what a buyer would want to see.

For a B2B unit, we usually suggest putting more into production and the website than into ad spend. The buyer is already searching and mostly needs convincing. The factors behind a quote are listed at Digital Marketing Packages in Rudrapur from ₹35,000.

07What happens first for a factory?

The start is mostly groundwork. This is the usual order; it moves with your approvals and your production calendar.

  • First, a plant visit. We walk the floor with the plant head and list the products, machines, certifications on file and the phrases buyers search.
  • Then an audit of what exists: the current website, Google Business Profile, the owner's LinkedIn, and the photos sales has been emailing buyers.
  • Then the shoot. Plant film, product stills, team portraits and short clips, booked around shifts and away from month-end dispatch.
  • Then the website. Copy with the sales head, catalogue pages, the RFQ form wired to the person who quotes, English version if exports are in scope.
  • Then Google Business Profile corrected and filled. LinkedIn started for the owner with posts from the shoot. Search ads switched on for phrases where the site is not yet found.
  • Then a plain review of what went live and what enquiries, if any, came in and from where. After that, we agree what to add next: a hiring video, an export catalogue or dealer updates.

08Work that proves it

09Questions people ask

Is a SIDCUL Pantnagar plant a local shoot for you?

Yes. Our studio is in Metropolis City, Rudrapur, so a SIDCUL plant is a local shoot, not an outstation trip. It also makes a plant visit before the shoot easy to arrange. For a factory we usually propose a plant film, a buyer-ready website, Google search and LinkedIn for the owner, rather than consumer-style reels.

Will you stop our production line to shoot?

No. We plan the shoot with your plant head around the shift that suits you. We take your safety induction, wear the PPE your floor requires and stay clear of forklifts and dispatch. If a line has to be shown running, we film it running. If a customer's part or a process is confidential, it does not go on camera. If you need an NDA before the shoot, raise it on the first call.

Does a manufacturer really need Instagram?

Usually not as a priority. Instagram rarely reaches a procurement manager. For most units the order is a website that answers a buyer's checklist, a correct Google Business Profile, and Google search on supplier phrases. Then LinkedIn for the owner. Instagram and Facebook come in for hiring, dealer updates or a consumer-facing product line. We will say which applies to you on the first call.

Can you make an English catalogue for export buyers?

Yes. We shoot the products and the plant and write the catalogue in plain English with your sales team. It is produced as a phone-friendly PDF and as pages on your website. That way it can be emailed, and Google can index it. If you need a plant film with English subtitles or voice-over for overseas buyers, that comes from the same shoot.

How much does B2B marketing cost with AMS?

Marketing retainers start from ₹35,000 a month and business websites from ₹50,000, both plus GST. Google search spend is paid by the company directly to Google. For most units we suggest spending more on the plant film and the website than on ads. The rest is set after a plant visit, because a steel unit and a logistics firm need different things.

Can you help us hire operators and technicians?

We can help with the hiring side. Short recruitment videos from the floor, and a careers page on the website that explains the work, the shift and how to apply. Posts on LinkedIn and job groups. We cannot promise a hire. We can make sure a candidate who looks you up finds something honest and specific.

Should the owner be on LinkedIn, or the company page?

The owner, first. Buyers and candidates look up a person before a logo. The company page is a useful home for the plant film and product updates. The posts that get read come from a named person. We draft posts from what happened on the floor that week, you approve them, and they go out under your name.
