01Why would a Pantnagar business use a studio in Rudrapur?
Because it is close enough to work like a local one. Our studio is in Metropolis City, Rudrapur. The campus, the SIDCUL estate and the airport are all roughly half an hour away by road, often less. A shoot here is not an outstation trip for us, so there is no travel line padding your quote.
Pantnagar is also an unusual place to sell in. Much of it is a university township, with its own markets, staff housing and hostels. Beside it sits the biggest estate SIIDCUL runs, full of plants whose buyers never come here. The airport and the two railway stations, Pantnagar and Haldi Road, bring visitors who stay a night and leave. Each of those is a different customer, and one generic plan will not reach all of them.
Anything that does not need a camera happens at the studio. You see drafts on WhatsApp and approve them there. The founder is on shoot days, not only on the invoice.
| Work | Where it happens |
|---|---|
| First meeting | At your unit, shop, hotel or stall |
| Shoot days | On location, planned around shifts, classes or service hours |
| Editing and design | At the studio in Rudrapur |
| Meta and Google ads | Run from the studio, with a plain monthly report |
| Website build | At the studio, reviewed on a link you open on your phone |
| Approvals | WhatsApp and calls, in Hindi or English |
02Who buys from a Pantnagar business, and what do they check first?
Before we plan a single post, we work out who the customer is. Around the campus and the estate it is usually one of these.
| Business | Who the customer is | What they check first |
|---|---|---|
| Unit in SIDCUL Pantnagar | A purchase team, often in another state | The website, real plant photos, how fast someone replies |
| Food and tea near the campus markets | Students and campus staff families | Instagram, the menu, whether WhatsApp orders work |
| Coaching, stationery, phone repair | Students from the hostels | What friends share, timings, location on the map |
| Hotels and guest stays | Vendors, auditors and visitors to the plants and the university | Photos of the actual rooms, a number that answers |
| Seed, farm input and machinery dealers | Farmers, many first met at the Kisan Mela | A Hindi demonstration video and a dealer they can call |
| Clinics and schools | Families living around the campus and the estate | The doctor or principal, real rooms, timings |
Most businesses here sit in one row. A few sit in two, such as a hotel that hosts plant visitors on weekdays and wedding guests at weekends. The row decides the platform, the language and where the money goes. A plan that ignores it ends up posting festival greetings to buyers who wanted a capacity sheet.
03Is marketing a SIDCUL Pantnagar unit different from marketing a campus shop?
Completely. A shop wants the person walking past. A unit in the estate wants a buyer at an auto maker or a food company, who will judge it from a laptop. SIIDCUL describes the estate as one of the country's major automobile hubs, and many units here supply larger plants. Their marketing is a website a procurement team can check, a plant film, Google search on supplier terms and LinkedIn for the owner.
We have written that up in full on our page for SIDCUL factories and B2B firms, so it is not repeated here: Industrial & B2B Marketing Agency in SIDCUL Rudrapur. What matters for a Pantnagar unit is that the plant is a short drive for us. We can walk the floor before quoting, come back for the shoot on a quieter shift, and return when a new line is commissioned.
One thing comes up often in this estate. Vendors to a big plant are usually not allowed to show the customer's parts. So we film the process, the people and the inspection bench instead, which tells a buyer what they need without breaking a supply agreement. If your unit also sells to dealers or to consumers, that side gets reels and Meta ads like any other brand, as separate content for a separate audience.
04How do you market a café or shop near the GB Pant University campus?
The campus is a town of its own, with its Chhoti and Bari markets, staff colonies and hostels. Students live on campus, so the businesses that serve them are judged within a short ride of the hostel gates. Custom follows the academic calendar. It is strong when a new batch arrives and in the weeks before exams. It drops when the hostels empty for the vacations.
For a café, a tiffin service, a stationery shop or a phone repair counter, the work that helps is simple and regular:
- Short reels of the food or the counter during the evening rush, not an empty table at noon.
- A pinned post with the menu, prices and WhatsApp number, because students ask the same three questions every term.
- Posts timed to the semester: something for the new batch, late timings in exam weeks, a quieter plan for the vacations.
- Captions in the Hinglish students actually text in, and Hindi for staff families.
- A small Meta ad budget limited to a few kilometres around the campus, so you are not paying to reach people in Haldwani.
Food is a category we know well. Kartar's Haveli went from no following to 7,000+ followers on kitchen close-ups, dining content and a presenter-led tour. A campus café is smaller, but the method holds: show the food honestly and post on a schedule. More on food businesses: Restaurant Marketing Agency in Rudrapur & Kumaon. Coaching centres near the campus have their own page: Coaching Institute Marketing in Rudrapur and Haldwani.
05How should a seed or farm machinery business plan around the Kisan Mela?
Twice a year, before the rabi and kharif seasons, the university holds its Kisan Mela, the all-India farmers' fair and agro-industrial exhibition. It runs for four days. Farmers come to see new seed varieties and farming methods. Agro firms, Krishi Vigyan Kendras and self-help groups set up stalls. For a seed company, an implement dealer or a dairy brand, few weeks in the year bring so many buyers to one ground.
Many stalls waste it. They print a banner, hand out leaflets and go home with a pile of numbers nobody calls back. A better plan starts well before the gates open:
- Two or three weeks before: Hindi reels telling farmers which stall to find and what will be shown, run as Meta ads in the districts your dealers cover.
- During the mela: a crew at the stall filming demonstrations and short conversations with farmers who agree to be filmed, posted the same day.
- A WhatsApp number on every banner and leaflet, so a farmer can send a message instead of losing a card.
- After the mela: every enquiry answered by a person, in Hindi, with the video of the product they asked about.
We have covered a fair from start to finish before. Saras Mela had 1 lakh+ people through the gate across its run, and we filmed it day and night, from the buyer-seller meet to the live stage. Our stall content plan for a trade fair is here: IITF 2026: a content plan for Uttarakhand makers and factories taking a stall.
06How does a shoot day in Pantnagar work?
Most of the planning is done before anyone picks up a camera. A typical day runs like this:
- A shot list agreed on a call first, with timings matched to your shifts, classes or service hours.
- The crew drives over from Rudrapur in the morning. For most businesses one visit covers a few weeks of reels and photos.
- Factory shoots follow your safety induction and PPE rules. Confidential parts and processes stay off camera.
- If you want university buildings or campus roads in frame, that permission comes from the university. We tell you what to ask for, and plan around it if it does not come.
- Hotel rooms are shot made up, with daylight, before check-in traffic starts.
- Editing happens at the studio. Drafts reach you on WhatsApp, and you ask for changes there.
Between visits, your staff can send phone clips of a new dish, a dispatch or a visiting delegation. We edit those so the page does not go quiet while you wait for the next shoot. If your needs change every week, as they do for a busy café, we plan more frequent visits and put that in the quote from the start.
07What does it cost, and what is not included?
Retainers start from ₹35,000 a month and websites from ₹50,000, both plus GST. Ad spend is paid by you, straight to Meta or Google, from an ad account in your own name. Because Pantnagar is a short drive, local shoot days are part of the scope rather than a travel charge added later. How the two prices are built is explained at Digital Marketing Packages in Rudrapur from ₹35,000.
What we do not sell, so you can plan around it:
- SEO as a separate service. A website we build includes local SEO basics, and that is all we offer on search rankings.
- Google Business Profile management. If customers find you on Maps, the profile stays in your hands.
- Promised rankings, follower counts or a set number of enquiries. Nobody can guarantee those, and we do not pretend to.
- Printing. We design the mela banner, the menu card and the leaflet. A local printer prints them.

08Work that proves it
09Questions people ask
Is there a digital marketing agency near Pantnagar?
Advance Media Solution is in Metropolis City, Rudrapur, about half an hour by road from Pantnagar. We come to you for the first meeting and for every shoot. Editing, design, ads and website work happen at the studio. Day-to-day approvals run on WhatsApp and calls, with the same seven people throughout.
We run a small food stall by the campus. Is a monthly retainer too much for us?
It may be, and we will say so. Retainers start at ₹35,000 a month plus GST, which suits a business with steady custom and room to grow. For a smaller stall, a single shoot that sets up a clean page and a few weeks of reels can be the right start. Tell us honestly what you can spend on the call.
Can you make Hindi content for farmers and English content for buyers?
Yes, and they should be separate pieces, not one video with two sets of subtitles. Farmers and dealers usually get Hindi videos with a demonstration and a phone number. Procurement teams and export buyers get English pages and a plant film. One shoot day can produce both if the shot list is planned for it.
We have outlets in Pantnagar and Rudrapur. Can one team handle both?
Yes. Rudrapur, Kichha and Haldwani are all within easy reach of the studio, so a business with more than one outlet gets one plan and one team. Each outlet can still have its own ads, aimed at the people who live near it, and its own posts when something there is worth showing.
Will you film at the airport or inside the university?
Only with permission from whoever runs the space. Airports and university buildings have their own rules on cameras, and that permission has to come through you or your contact there. We tell you exactly what to request. If it does not come through, we plan the shoot around your own premises instead.
