01Why would a Khatima business hire a studio from Rudrapur?
We should say this first. AMS has no office in Khatima. Our studio is in Metropolis City, Rudrapur, and the drive takes about an hour and a half, through Kichha and Sitarganj. That is too far for a quick visit and close enough for a proper day's work.
So we plan around full days. The crew leaves early, shoots through the day at your shop, hospital or school, and drives back in the evening. One visit usually covers several weeks of reels, photos and posters.
What the drive buys you is one team for the whole job. Seven people under one roof plan the content, hold the camera, edit, design, run the ads and build the website. You are not chasing a photographer from one place, a designer from another and a nephew who once ran a boosted post.
Khatima is also a town that a city agency easily misreads. It is the last town in the eastern Tarai, with Nepal on one side and the Pilibhit side of Uttar Pradesh on the other. Its customers include Kumaoni families who came down from the Pithoragarh hills, Sikh and Muslim households, Tharu villages all around, and until recently a steady flow of shoppers from across the border. A post that works in Rudrapur may fall flat here, and the sections below explain why.
02How does a shoot day in Khatima work, and what is done from the studio?
Only the shooting needs us in Khatima. The rest happens at the studio and reaches you on WhatsApp.
- First meeting at your premises. The founder or a senior team member comes out, walks through the business with you and asks what actually sells.
- A shot list on WhatsApp a few days before the visit, so your staff, stock and space are ready.
- Shoot day from morning to late afternoon. We work around your rush hours, and around OPD hours if you run a clinic.
- Editing, posters, captions and ad set-up at the Rudrapur studio. Drafts come to you as WhatsApp previews.
- Posting and replies to comments and messages from the studio. Serious enquiries are passed to you or your counter staff.
- Short phone clips from you between visits, a new arrival or a function, which our editors cut to match the shoot-day reels.
- A monthly call on what is coming next, and the next visit booked well ahead.
Travel to Khatima is a separate line on the quote, so it never appears later as a surprise. When we have work in Sitarganj or Nanakmatta the same week, we group the visits, which keeps that line smaller. Our page for Sitarganj, on the same road, is at Digital Marketing Agency in Sitarganj | Reels, Ads, Web.
03What should each kind of Khatima business show online?
Khatima's businesses sit along a few busy roads: the Main Bazar and Tehsil Road, Khatima Chauraha, Sitarganj Road, Pilibhit Road, Melaghat Road and Lohia Head Road. They do not all sell the same way.
| Business | Who decides | What to show first |
|---|---|---|
| Clothing, saree and jewellery shops | Families shopping for a wedding or a festival, often the women of the house | This week's stock held up by the person who sells it, and the price range |
| Hospitals, nursing homes and clinics | A family member choosing where to take a patient | The doctor explaining one common worry, OPD timings and a number someone answers |
| Schools, coaching and colleges | Parents, and students at the government PG college | Real classrooms, teachers on camera, dates and fees stated plainly |
| Sweet shops, dhabas and restaurants | Whoever is ordering for the family tonight | The food close up, the counter, and a WhatsApp order button |
| Seed, fertiliser and hardware traders | Farmers and contractors who already buy by phone | Stock, timings and a WhatsApp catalogue, more than a polished Instagram |
| Two-wheeler, electronics and furniture showrooms | A buyer comparing prices across towns | New models in the showroom, finance options as stated by you, and the route to the door |
Hospitals deserve a separate note. Sitarganj Road and Pilibhit Road carry a long line of hospitals and nursing homes, so families compare. We make doctor-led explainers without promises of cure, the way we have for Instep Physio and Dr. Chandra. Our rules for health content are on Hospital & Clinic Marketing Agency in Rudrapur.
04Fewer shoppers cross from Nepal now. What should border-side shops do?
For years, families from Mahendranagar crossed at Banbasa to shop on the Indian side, and some came on to Khatima for bigger purchases. In 2026 that changed. Nepal tightened customs at Gaddachauki, clothing and electrical goods now go through inspection, and bringing wedding and festival goods home duty-free has stopped. Nepali reports describe the Banbasa market as largely deserted.
We cannot fix customs. What a shop can do is stop depending on a crowd it does not control. The border also closed to vehicles during Nepal's unrest in September 2025, which showed how quickly that crowd can disappear.
- Build the local customer you already have. Families in town, the Tharu villages around it and the Kumaoni settlements are a steadier base than the border.
- Draw ads around real places. A Meta campaign can cover Khatima, Nanakmatta, Banbasa, Tanakpur and the Pilibhit side together, and leave out everyone who will never make the trip.
- Keep the Nepali customer who still comes. A Nepali line in the caption, checked by your staff, tells them they are still welcome.
- Make the phone do more work. A WhatsApp catalogue with prices lets a buyer decide before the ride in.
Kapoor Jewelers and Bhabhiji Sarees are among the retail brands we have worked with. How our Instagram and Facebook work runs month to month is at Social Media Marketing Agency in Rudrapur.
05Which language should a Khatima business post in?
Hindi first, almost always. It is the language nearly every customer in town reads, and hooks and posters work best in it. English belongs where it sounds natural, for a college crowd or a school's prospectus.
After that, it depends on who you serve. Many families in town speak Kumaoni at home. Sikh and Punjabi households may respond to a Punjabi line at Gurpurab or Baisakhi. Tharu families have their own language, shaped by Hindi, Awadhi and Bhojpuri. A line in someone's own language is a real gesture, but a wrong word costs more than it earns. So any line we add in Kumaoni, Punjabi, Tharu or Nepali is checked by you or your staff before it goes out.
Culture needs the same care. Tharu festivals such as Maghe Sankranti and Hariyari, and the long Tharu Holi, belong to the community. If your business sells to Tharu families, you can mark those days respectfully. Do not use them as a backdrop for a discount. If you sell Tharu basketry, weaving or bamboo work, film the maker at work with their consent, and say who they are.
One date needs no clever post at all. On 1 September the town remembers the 1994 Khatima firing in the statehood movement. We keep sale posts off the calendar that day.
06When should Khatima businesses plan for weddings, festivals and fairs?
Earlier than they usually do. The year has clear peaks, and each needs content ready before the rush begins.
- Wedding season. Jewellers, saree shops, banquet halls, caterers and tent houses should shoot new stock a month before the first big dates.
- Navratri, Diwali and the Nanakmatta Sahib fair. Nanakmatta is a short drive west of Khatima, and the gurdwara's fair around Deepavali draws visitors from well outside Udham Singh Nagar.
- Holi, which runs long in Tharu villages, and Eid. Sweet shops and clothing stores sell most in the days just before.
- The Purnagiri season beyond Tanakpur. Trains to Tanakpur run through Khatima, so dhabas, hotels and shops near the station see more travellers.
- Admissions in spring, when schools and coaching centres compete for the same parents.
For each peak we shoot while the shop is still quiet, approve reels and posters early and keep part of the ad budget for the peak days themselves. The Royal Art's Rakhi campaign was planned that way, built to a fixed date, and its launch brought ₹70k+ in sales within the first twenty days. The case study is at The Royal Art case study.
Fairs and stage events are familiar ground too. Our crew covered Saras Mela day and night, and 1 lakh+ people came through the gate across its run.
07What does it cost, and what does AMS not do?
Two published prices, both starting points. Marketing retainers start from ₹35,000 a month and business websites from ₹50,000, with GST on top of both. Your quote depends on how many shoot days you need, how much content goes out each month and whether ads are part of it. How the packages work is at Digital Marketing Packages in Rudrapur from ₹35,000.
Ad money goes from your own card to Meta or Google, inside ad accounts in your name. We do not mark it up, and you can see every rupee spent.
Two things we do not sell. We do not offer SEO as a service, and we do not manage Google Business Profiles. A website from us includes local SEO basics, and we hand over good photos of your shop or clinic that you can add to your own Google listing. We would rather say this plainly than let you assume it.
Nobody can promise you a number of customers, and we do not. What we commit to is a monthly report that says what went out, who saw it and how many people called or messaged. To start, ring +91 91059 43909 or tap Let's talk. We call back within a working day, and the first meeting happens in Khatima, at your place.

09Questions people ask
Is there a digital marketing agency near Khatima?
AMS is the Rudrapur option, about an hour and a half away by road. We do not have an office in Khatima, but the crew comes to you for the first meeting and for every shoot day. Editing, design, ads and websites are handled at the studio in Metropolis City, and you approve everything on WhatsApp.
Can our ads reach customers in Banbasa, Tanakpur and the Pilibhit side too?
Yes. Meta and Google let us set the ad area around any group of towns, across the state line if that is where your buyers live. A clothing shop might start with Khatima, Nanakmatta and Banbasa, then widen once calls come in. The report shows which areas actually responded, so the budget follows real enquiries.
We are a small shop. Do we need a monthly plan?
Not always. Some businesses here do best with one good shoot before the wedding season, a clean Instagram and Facebook page, and a small local ad budget. Others need steady posting every week. We will tell you which on the first call, and if a retainer is not right for you yet, we will say so.
Can you film inside a hospital or nursing home?
Yes, with the management's permission and on their terms. We shoot between OPD sessions, keep patients and records out of frame unless there is written consent, and the doctor approves every edit before it goes out. Content explains care and timings. It never promises a cure or compares you with another hospital.
How many times a month will your team come to Khatima?
Usually once, for a full shoot day that covers several weeks of content. Businesses with fast-changing stock or menus may need two visits, and we say so on the quote. Between visits you can send short phone clips, which our editors cut to match. Travel is always a separate, visible line.
