01Why do shops in Rudrapur get followers but not walk-ins?
A shop does not need an audience. It needs people at the counter on Saturday evening. That is the only number we plan around for retail clients, and it is the one most feeds forget.
Think about what a customer does before she walks in. She sees a saree in a reel on Tuesday night. She opens the profile to check the shop is real and where it is. She may send a WhatsApp asking the price. By Sunday she is in your shop, or in the one whose reel answered her faster. Every post has to survive that chain.
Try this before you call any agency, us included. Ask the next ten people at your counter what brought them in. If it is a friend, a wedding or the shop front, reels do that same job for people who have never passed your door. If most of them already say Instagram, the job is turning more of those views into visits. If nobody says online, that is the gap.
We measure a month by walk-ins who mention a reel, WhatsApp enquiries, and calls asking if a piece is still in stock. Not by likes.
02What should a clothing, jewellery or furniture shop actually post?
New stock. Every showroom has a day when the boxes arrive, and that day is content. The saree still folded, the first sofa out of its packing, a tray of bangles being laid out. Customers want to see what is new this week, not a greeting card.
The second rule is where the product is shot. A necklace laid on a white card is a catalogue page. Put it on a person, under the shop's own lights, and it sells the idea of wearing it. For The Royal Art we shot the gallery pieces in situ, on real walls, not on a white sweep. The launch brought in ₹70k+ in sales within its first twenty days. For Noore Pashmina we went to the loom, where the shawl starts. Refresh Mattress had the owner on camera for the showroom launch. Glowra Glam got an ethnic wear and jewellery shoot.
Third, know what a phone camera gets wrong inside a shop.
- Tube lights push gold towards yellow and white cloth towards grey.
- Glass counters and mirrors throw the phone flash straight back.
- A wide shot of a furniture floor makes every piece look small.
- Zari, stone setting and fabric weave vanish without a close lens and a steady hand.
We light for the product, not the room.
03How do Meta ads work for a showroom that only sells to people nearby?
A shop in Rudrapur gains nothing from a view in Lucknow. So the ads are drawn on a map. We set a radius around your shop, add the nearby towns your customers actually come from, and leave out the rest. That keeps the budget aimed at people who can drive to you.
The ad itself is the reel that has already done well on the feed. Bluwalker, an apparel label, is the clearest case: the drop reel that earned 3M+ views organically was run as the ad without a rebuild. Read how it ran at the Bluwalker case study. For a shop, the difference is the map: the same reel, shown only to people who can drive to you.
Two things to know before you start. Ad spend is paid by you directly to Meta from your own ad account, so you always see where the money went. And an ad has to point somewhere: a WhatsApp chat, a directions button, or a page with the price range. We set that up before the ad goes live.
If you are deciding between reels and ads for the first month, read Reels or Facebook ads first? What a local business in Rudrapur should start with.
04When should a shop start planning for Diwali and the wedding season?
Months out. Diwali, Dhanteras, Karva Chauth, Rakhi, Eid and the shaadi dates are when sarees, gold and sofas move. Each one is on the calendar long before it arrives. Inside the week itself, planning is already too late. Stock arrives late, the floor is full, and nobody has time to stand in front of a camera.
So we shoot the first festival stock as it lands, before the floor fills up. Reels are cut and approved while there is still time to change them. The ad money is kept for the buying days, not spread thin across a slow month.
The Royal Art's Rakhi campaign worked this way. It was planned back from the festival date, and the creative was finished ahead of the rush. The same calendar applies to a wedding-season lehenga collection, a Dhanteras gold offer, or an electronics showroom's Diwali stock.
The festival dates we plan around are laid out at Festival marketing calendar for shops and restaurants in Uttarakhand. Bring your stock-arrival dates to the first call and they go into the same plan.
05What does working with AMS look like for a busy shop?
Shop owners are busy on the floor. The work is set up so your part is being there on shoot day and answering a few WhatsApp approvals.
- A first visit to your shop. We look at the racks, your stock calendar and festival dates, and ask your staff what brings people in.
- Your Instagram, Facebook and Google Business profiles are cleaned up. Timings, location pin, phone number, WhatsApp button, current photos.
- A shoot in your quiet hours. New stock, the pieces you most want to move, and the owner or a salesperson on camera if you are willing.
- Reels go out on a planned calendar. The team that made the reel also answers the price questions under it.
- If ads are in the plan, a small radius-targeted Meta ad goes behind the reel that did best, pointed at WhatsApp or directions.
- A month-end report in plain words: what went out, what it reached, and how many people messaged, called or walked in and mentioned it.
Each month is built on which pieces people asked about the month before, and which shots brought them in.
06What does retail marketing cost in Rudrapur?
Two prices exist, and both are starting points. A monthly marketing retainer starts from ₹35,000 a month. A business website starts from ₹50,000. GST is charged on top of both.
The retainer pays for the team's time: planning, shooting at your shop, editing, posting, replying, and running the ad account. How much of each a shop needs depends on how often the stock changes. A jeweller with new pieces through the wedding season keeps the camera busy. A showroom with a short, fixed range needs fewer shoots and more work on ads and the Google listing. Bring your stock calendar to the call and the scope is sized from that.
Two things sit outside these prices. The festival ad budget goes from the shop straight to Meta or Google. A Dhanteras push shows on your own statement, not on our invoice. The domain and hosting for a showroom site are bought in the shop's name.
What changes the price, and why we quote after a call, is set out at Digital Marketing Packages in Rudrapur from ₹35,000. If the showroom also needs a site with the product range and directions, see Website Design Cost in Rudrapur: From ₹50,000.
07Do you work with shops in Kichha, Gadarpur and Haldwani?
Yes, and the shoot happens at your shop. Kichha is about 12 km from our studio in Metropolis City. Gadarpur is roughly 20 to 25 km. Haldwani is about 35 to 40 km. All three are a same-day drive there and back.
Shoots are planned before the evening rush, usually on a weekday morning, so customers are not stepping around a tripod. Each visit is planned to cover as much of the coming calendar as the stock allows. Whether new-stock days get a visit of their own is part of the scope we agree on the call.
Approvals, calendar changes and the monthly report happen on WhatsApp and calls. If you would rather see how the work is done, the studio in Rudrapur is open to visit. Ring +91 91059 43909 before you come, as the crew is often at a client's shop.

09Questions people ask
Does the shop owner have to appear in the reels?
No. Most retail content is the product: the stock arriving, the piece being worn or used, the floor at its best. If you are willing, an owner on camera can help, because people buy from a face they recognise. Refresh Mattress's owner fronted their showroom launch. A couple of lines about a piece, said at your own counter, is usually enough.
Can the ads be shown only to people near my shop?
Mostly, yes. Meta lets us set a radius around your shop and add the towns your regulars travel in from. The ads are aimed at people inside that area, so the budget is not spread across the whole state. The spend goes from your own ad account directly to Meta. You can raise it for the wedding season and cut it back in a slow month.
Will you shoot in my shop or take the stock to a studio?
In your shop, almost always. A saree on a mannequin under your lights, a sofa on your floor, a ring on a hand at your counter. That is what a customer actually sees when she walks in. A watch dial or a stone close-up may come to the studio for controlled light. Everything else is shot on your floor, in your quiet hours.
How do you measure whether it is working for a shop?
By walk-ins, WhatsApp enquiries and calls, not by followers. We ask your staff to note when a customer mentions a reel or an ad. The monthly report puts that beside what was posted and what the ads reached. You can see which products people asked about and which shots moved them.
How much does retail marketing cost in Rudrapur?
Marketing retainers start from ₹35,000 a month and business websites from ₹50,000, both plus GST. Ad spend is paid by you directly to Meta or Google, and domain and hosting are bought in your name. What a month includes for your shop depends on your stock cycle and seasons, so the scope is set on the call.
