How do I get more patients for my physiotherapy clinic in Kashipur?

Make it easy for a patient in pain to trust you before they visit. Show the physio on camera explaining one problem at a time, show the clinic and its equipment, list the conditions you treat in plain Hindi and English, and answer WhatsApp the same day. Then add local ads for the searches people already type.

Most physiotherapy patients do not choose a clinic for fun. They arrive with a stiff back after a factory shift, a parent's knee that has stopped bending, or a referral slip after surgery. They want to know three things fast: can you fix this, how many sessions, and what will it cost.

In Kashipur, many still find a physio through a doctor or a neighbour. But even a referred patient checks you on the phone before calling. What they find there decides whether they come to you or to the clinic down the road.

01What does a patient check before booking a physio in Kashipur?

Patients, and the family member who usually brings them, look for proof that you are real, qualified and nearby. Before they call, they usually check:

  • Who the physio is: name, qualification, years in practice, and a face.
  • Whether you treat their problem: back pain, frozen shoulder, knee pain, sports injury, rehab after surgery or a stroke.
  • What the clinic looks like: clean, with real equipment, not a bare room.
  • Timings, parking and whether there are stairs, which matters for older patients.
  • Whether you offer home visits.
  • Whether someone answers WhatsApp and the phone properly.

If your Instagram shows only "Happy Diwali" posters and a phone number, you answer none of these. A patient in pain will not keep scrolling. They will call whoever looks most trustworthy first.

02What should a physiotherapy clinic post on Instagram?

Post what a patient would learn in a first consultation. In AMS's experience, these formats do the most work for clinics:

ContentWhat it showsWhy it works
Physio explains one condition in under a minuteYou understand the problemPatients search by their pain, not by your name
A safe stretch demonstrated by a staff memberYour methodUseful, so people save and share it
Clinic walk-through, room by roomEquipment and hygieneRemoves the fear of the unknown
"What happens in your first session"The process and time neededAnswers the question every new patient has
Home visit explainerWho it suits and the area you coverFamilies with elderly parents look for this

Speak the way your patients speak. For most clinics here that means Hindi or Hinglish on camera, with clear captions. Many older patients will watch on a mid-range phone with the sound off at first.

03Should the physio be on camera?

Yes, if at all possible. A patient is trusting a person with their body. Seeing that person speak calmly about their problem does more than any poster.

For Instep Physio, we made a presenter-led physio explainer. For Dr. Chandra, we shot the chiropractic clinic with the doctor leading. In both cases, the clinician carries the video and the clinic is the backdrop.

How we shoot it in practice:

  • One condition per video. A reel that covers back, knee and neck at once helps nobody.
  • A short brief the day before, so the physio knows the one point to make.
  • A staff member plays the patient for demonstrations, so no real patient is filmed without need.
  • We shoot between appointments, so the OPD does not stop.

If the physio is shy, start with voice-over over clinic footage. Most clinicians relax by the third video.

04Do ads work for a physiotherapy clinic?

They can, if they reach people who are already in pain and nearby. Two kinds of ads suit a clinic:

  • Google search ads for what people type, such as a physiotherapist near them or treatment for a named condition in Kashipur. These people are ready to book.
  • Meta ads on Instagram and Facebook, using your best explainer reel, aimed at Kashipur and nearby towns such as Jaspur and Bazpur. These build awareness before the need arises.
  • A WhatsApp chat ad, so a patient can describe the problem and ask the fee without calling.

Keep the area tight. A patient needing ten sessions will not travel far for each one. Start small, check which enquiries actually booked, and adjust.

We explain the difference between the two platforms in Google Ads or Facebook ads: which is better for a local business?. Our Google Ads Agency in Rudrapur for Local Search & Calls page shows how we run search ads for local businesses.

05What should a clinic never claim online?

Health content carries more trust and more risk than a sweet shop's reel. A wrong claim can hurt a patient and your name in a town where people talk.

  • Never promise a cure or a fixed number of sessions for everyone.
  • Do not post patient videos or photos without written consent, and blur faces if in doubt.
  • Do not show dramatic before and after results that most patients will not get.
  • Do not give treatment advice for a specific person in comments. Ask them to visit.
  • Check the rules your professional council sets on advertising, and follow them.

General education is safe and useful. "Why your knee hurts on stairs" helps people. "Knee pain gone in three days" is a promise you cannot keep.

06What happens after a patient messages?

This is where most clinics lose patients they already paid to reach. Someone messages at night about a parent's back pain. The reply comes two days later. By then they have booked elsewhere.

A simple routine works:

  • Reply the same day during the hours you advertise, even if only to say when you will call.
  • Share the consultation fee, timings and a map pin in the first reply.
  • Offer a specific slot, not "come anytime".
  • Send a WhatsApp reminder the evening before each session.
  • Keep a simple sheet: date, problem, source of the enquiry, booked or not.

The sheet tells you within a month which posts and ads bring real patients. That is the only number that matters.

07How does AMS work with clinics?

Advance Media Solution is a seven-person studio in Rudrapur, about an hour from Kashipur. We plan the month's topics with the physio, shoot in one visit around OPD hours, and edit the explainers, clinic tour and ads in house. We also build fast clinic websites with a page for each condition.

Our approach for clinics and hospitals is on Hospital & Clinic Marketing Agency in Rudrapur. Monthly retainers start from ₹35,000 plus GST.

If you run a physiotherapy or chiropractic clinic in Kashipur and want to talk it through, call +91 91059 43909. Even if you do it yourself, start with one honest explainer and a same-day reply habit.

08Questions people ask

How often should a physiotherapy clinic post on Instagram?

Steady beats frequent. Two or three useful posts a week, with at least one explainer video, is enough for most clinics. What matters is that each post answers a real question a patient has. A clinic that posts one good condition video every week for six months builds more trust than one that posts daily greetings.

Should a physio clinic show prices online?

Showing the consultation fee helps. Patients and families want to know before they travel. Package prices are harder, because the number of sessions depends on the person. Many clinics state the consultation fee clearly and explain that the treatment plan and its cost are discussed after the first assessment.

Do we need a website if we are on Instagram and Google Maps?

A small clinic can start without one. A website helps once you want to be found for specific conditions, because each condition can have its own page. It also gives doctors who refer patients a link to share. Keep it fast on a mid-range phone, with the fee, timings and a WhatsApp button.

Can we use patient testimonials in our videos?

Only with written consent, and only if the patient is comfortable on camera. Keep the claims honest: what the problem was and how they feel now, in their own words. Do not script results. Check your professional council's rules on testimonials too, since health advertising has rules of its own.
